About the role

You’re a thoughtful and driven mining professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and collaborating with others to shape the future of mining operations. You bring a strategic mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and a genuine interest in contributing to a supportive and inclusive team environment where everyone feels valued.

You’ll feel confident in this role if you:

• Have underground mining experience and a degree in Mining, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering
• Are proficient in mine planning software such as Deswik CAD and Scheduler, with exposure to optimisation tools like Deswik SO, Datamine SO, Apex or Minemax
• Enjoy working across diverse teams to develop long-term mine designs and schedules that align with business goals

About you

This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to Evolution Mining’s long-term planning function, supporting both the Cowal and Mungari Gold Operations. You’ll play a key role in shaping the Life of Mine (LOM) plans, collaborating with technical and operational teams to deliver optimised scenarios and strategic insights.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and schedule Life of Mine plans, integrating geological, operational, and project inputs
• Collaborate with site and corporate teams to support mine extension studies and scenario modelling
• Contribute to Evolution’s consolidated LOM strategy, identifying risks and opportunities to drive performance
• Assist Evolution’s competent persons in developing and reporting Ore Reserves
