What’s the opportunity? 

As an Auto Electrician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our underground and surface mining fleet at Ernest Henry Operations.

Working as part of a high-performing Mobile Maintenance team, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs across a diverse range of heavy mining equipment. Your expertise will help maximise equipment availability, support production targets and contribute to a safe and efficient operation.

If you enjoy diagnosing complex issues, working with modern mining equipment and being part of a team that values safety, quality and continuous improvement, this could be the role for you.  In this role, you’ll:

• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on heavy mining equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control system and electronic faults
• Conduct inspections and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately and efficiently
• Contribute to condition monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment within mining, construction, civil or heavy industry
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with electrical, electronic and control systems
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
