Who we are
We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.
When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.
What’s the opportunity?
This is not a traditional P&C role sitting on the sidelines.
In our Business Partner – People & Culture at Ernest Henry, you will play a key role in delivering people-focused projects and initiatives that support organisational priorities and enhance the employee experience. Working closely with leaders across the site, you'll combine strong stakeholder partnering with a hands-on approach to project delivery, helping turn strategy into practical outcomes.
You will lead and support a range of workforce, culture, change and organisational effectiveness initiatives while providing trusted advice and guidance to leaders on people-related matters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing project work with relationship-building and influencing outcomes across the business.
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver people-focused projects and initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with leaders to provide practical advice and support on workforce and people matters
- Support change, culture, capability and employee engagement initiatives across site
- Drive continuous improvement in P&C processes, systems and ways of working
- Coach and support leaders to build capability and drive performance
- Assist with employee relations matters and provide guidance on policy and compliance requirements.
