About the Role

As a Development Supervisor, you’ll play a central role in leading safe and efficient development activities in a sub level caving mining environment.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate crews to work safely and productively.
  • Monitor headings, ground conditions, and ventilation to keep environments safe.
  • Liaise with technical services to turn mine plans into action.
  • Allocate people and equipment to the right tasks and manage servicing.
  • Run pre-start meetings, safety briefings, and shift handovers.
  • Complete accurate shift reports, production data, and equipment records.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development practices.

About You

You’ll be an experienced underground operator ready to step up, or a proven supervisor looking for your next challenge. Either way, you bring:

  • A Shift Supervisor Certificate (S1, S2, S3 or statutory equivalent).
  • Current First Aid/CPR and valid driver’s licence.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position in an underground hard rock environment
  • Strong knowledge of development practices, ground support, and mining equipment.
