About Ernest Henry

About the role
We’re seeking a Jumbo Offsider to join our underground development crew. Reporting to the Development Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Offsiding the development jumbo operator, de-rig, re-rig and load bolts on the boom as required
- Installing ground support infrastructure
- Hot-seating the jumbo operator and cover leave when required
- Achieving development targets while adhering to safety standards
- Conducting equipment inspections and minor maintenance
- Following development plans and mining directions
- Lifestyle friendly 8/6 (days) – 7/7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or live residential in Cloncurry and receive a local living allowance
- Eligible for quarterly bonus

About you
You will bring prior experience working in charge up and bogging crews and perhaps some exposure operating jumbo drill rigs. You will hold a valid QSEC card, working at heights ticket, and driver's license. Bringing a safety-focused mindset and a can-do attitude, you are dedicated to achieving development targets while adhering to underground mining standards and procedures.
