Who we are

We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.

Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.

When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.

What’s the opportunity?

As a Metallurgist at Ernest Henry Operations, you'll play a key role in optimising concentrator performance, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement across our processing plant.

Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams, you'll provide technical expertise to maximise recovery, improve plant performance, support operational decision-making, and contribute to the delivery of metallurgical improvement projects.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your technical capability within a high-performing processing team.  In this role, you’ll:

  • Monitor and optimise metallurgical performance across the processing plant, supporting recovery, concentrate quality and operational performance
  • Provide technical support to Operations teams, analysing plant data, troubleshooting performance issues and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Deliver metallurgical improvement projects and test work programs while supporting shutdown activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Laboratory teams to achieve plant performance targets and maintain accurate reporting and data integrity.

Why Ernest Henry Operations?

Ernest Henry is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio. It has high-quality equipment, high standards and great management team. With a mine life to 2040 and doubled ore reserves, there are countless opportunities for people to evolve and give their career an uplift.
