About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent - Engineering & Asset Management, this position collaborates with the Maintenance teams to develop and sustain preventative maintenance programs that ensure the ongoing reliability of plant and equipment, while also providing engineering input to scheduling and breakdown maintenance activities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Leading by example by setting clear expectations, reviewing work, providing feedback, and recognizing team efforts while holding everyone accountable.
  • Coordinating workloads, deliverables, and professional development of team members, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Developing and implementing improvement initiatives to optimizing operational efficiency, reducing variations, and enhancing business performance.
  • Overseeing engineering workflows, technical queries, and documentation to meeting stakeholder requirements and QA/QC standards.
  • Facilitating the integration of reliability processes into planning cycles and collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Preparing and analyzing reports, including end-of-month asset status updates, to tracking trends and recommending actionable improvements.
  • Ensuring adherence to Australian standards, regulatory laws, and quality requirements in all tasks and deliverables.
  • Upholding Evolution’s values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect while complying with all company policies and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous project engineering and management expertise in addition to an engineering degree (or its equivalent). You must have prior experience managing dependability teams, interacting with stakeholders, and building strong relationships. You must exhibit strong communication, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. You must be able to communicate with people at different organisational levels, exchange expertise, and help the team succeed. Strong presenting abilities both in writing and speaking, as well as the capacity to effectively manage priorities while taking time and resources into account, are crucial.
