About Ernest Henry

About the role
Reporting to the Commercial and Finance Manager, as Superintendent - Supply and Contracts, you will provide leadership and direction to the supply, purchasing and contracts functions at Ernest Henry. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the on-site warehouse for peak efficiency through training, goal setting and performance monitoring
- Enhancing existing warehouse and inventory systems and processes
- Leading, developing and managing the supply and contracts teams
- Overseeing daily operations, inventory and logistics
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximise performance
- Maintaining safety and legal compliance
About you
You will possess tertiary qualifications in supply chain management or related disciplines along with previous experience in a senior supply chain leadership role. Your will be an excellent communicator, have a deep knowledge of procurement processes and a proven ability to manage high-performance teams to drive continuous improvement.
The preference is for this holder of this position to be based locally in Cloncurry, ideally working a 5/2 – 4/3 roster which allows you to be home each night. As a residential employee you will be provided housing, a vehicle and a local living allowance.
FIFO is also an option from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville or DIDO from Mt Isa + a travel allowance, with a custom roster than ensures you work across both 8/6 roster swings which the remainder of the workforce operates on.
