At Ernest Henry, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Cairns or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.
This roster is 8/6 and a 12-hour day.

About the Role
At Ernest Henry, accurate stock management keeps the mine running. We need a leader to manage inventory flow and minimize downtime. That’s where you come in. You will lead the stores team. You won't just move equipment and consumables; you will drive the efficiency that supports every department on site. Your key responsibilities:
- Lead the team. You will build team cohesion and ensure compliance across shifts.
- Manage the inventory. You will own stock accuracy, overseeing receipting, issuing, and stock-takes.
- Support the operation. You will be the first point of contact for end-users and vendors to ensure goals are met.
- Drive safety. You will champion safety processes and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Control the supply chain. You will manage goods movement on and off-site, ensuring full NHVR compliance.
- Champion improvement. You will identify stock issues and lead continuous improvement projects.
About You
You are a leader who values accuracy and collaboration. You understand that a well-run store is the backbone of a productive site. You bring:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in stores or supply chain.
- Certificate IV in a supply chain-related course (minimum).
- Mandatory certifications: S1, S2, S3, High Risk License, and Manual Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in CMS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills to build relationships with vendors and internal teams.
