This roster is 8 days on, 6 days off and a 12-hour day. Monday start and days only.

About the role
The Senior Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between mine operations and engineering for our Open Cut works at Cowal. This position is ideal for someone with strong supervisory experience and a solid understanding of technical planning, ready to step into a leadership track. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that weekly plans are practical, safe, and executable—keeping supervisors focused in the field and operations running smoothly.

Serves as the key interface between operations and engineering to ensure seamless plan execution. The Monday roster maintains continuity across all crews.

Supports field supervisors by coordinating design inputs and delivering robust, actionable plans.

Offers a clear succession pathway to Superintendent – ideal for candidates ready to grow into senior leadership.

Drives consistency across crews by aligning operational methods and promoting best practices.
About you
You’re a confident and capable mining professional with a strong operational background and a solid grasp of technical planning. You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly, and know how to bring people together around a common goal. You’re ready to step up, influence outcomes, and play a key role in shaping how things get done on site.

Proven experience supervising mining crews, with the capability to step into a senior leadership role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the assertiveness to influence experienced teams.

A blend of operational know-how and technical understanding—ideally with exposure to mine planning or engineering.

Comfortable acting as the go-between for operations and technical teams, ensuring plans are practical and executable.
