About the Role

This is your chance to make a real impact in your career. As Superintendent – Discovery at Cowal, you’ll be steering a talented team through some of the most exciting geological work in Evolution Mining’s portfolio. Reporting to the Integrated Planning Manager, you’ll be trusted to drive both near-mine resource definition and bold regional exploration.

This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be hands-on with strategy, data, and people, shaping the future of Cowal’s resource base while influencing long-term mine planning. You’ll have the autonomy to challenge assumptions, test new ideas, and deliver results that matter.

About You

You’re not "just" a geologist. You’re a leader, a strategist, and someone who thrives on unlocking potential. With 10+ years’ experience across exploration, resource definition, and production geology, you know how to build a team, deliver discoveries, and keep things moving.

You’ve worked with porphyry and epithermal systems, ideally in the Macquarie Arc. You’re confident both managing programs and mentoring early-career professionals. You bring structure, accountability, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in geology
• Experience with Leapfrog, QGIS, Datashed or AcQuire
• Strong project and program management skills
• A leadership style that balances autonomy with clear direction
• Familiarity with NSW permitting practices and regulatory compliance is highly advantageous
