This roster is 5/2 4/3 and a 10-hour day.  

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in the Gold Room at Evolution Mining. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong adherence to operational security, uphold our company values, and be responsible for managing the electrowinning processes through to the pouring of Dore product. This role also involves maintaining strict security protocols related to the gold room, ensuring efficient Dore shipment procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain electrowinning processes, ensuring efficient production of Dore product.
• Oversee the Dore pouring process, ensuring product integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• Manage the Dore shipment process, ensuring timely and secure transport of product.
• Adhere to entry/exit protocols and shipping procedures to ensure operational security in the Gold Room.
• Maintain log sheets, electronic data entry
• Assist in developing safe work instructions, completion of inspections, audits, and training of new personnel
• Reagent offloading, storage, and mixing
• Managing tailings deposition and performing Tailings facility daily inspections
• RO plant operation as required

Your commitment to precision and quality will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and success of the operation.

We are looking for a professional who thrives in a high-performance environment and possesses the following skills and attributes necessary to excel in this vital position:

• Previous experience working in gold mining within processing specifically a gold room is highly desirable
• Demonstrate and promote Evolution Mining's values through day-to-day operations and teamwork
• Maintain housekeeping to a very high standard
• Communicate effectively and in a positive manner with peers, supervisory personnel, other stakeholders and provide feedback where required
• Adherence to roster schedule and working hours
• The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise without impacting safety requirements
• Understand and comply with requirements of environmental approvals and relevant environment, health, and safety legislation
