What’s the opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Mine Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our Cowal Gold Operation near West Wyalong, NSW. Working a 5:2/4:3 residential roster on a 12 month fixed term contract, you'll partner with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, reporting and analysis that drive performance and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
- Providing commercial insights to operational stakeholders.
- Supporting performance improvement and cost leadership initiatives.
- Strengthening financial controls, data quality and business processes.

Does this sound like you?
You'll be commercially minded, analytical and collaborative, with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
- Experience in financial or management accounting.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable:
- CA, CPA or CIMA qualification (or working towards completion).
- Experience with Pronto, Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting tools.
