About the role
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the purpose of this position is to be responsible for ensuring mining plant equipment servicing is performed as required at the Cowal Gold Operation.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Safely and diligently performing assigned duties.
- Adhering to Evolution Mining standards, especially safety and environmental policies.
- Liasing and assisting other maintenance staff to ensure all prescribed duties are performed safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with site PPE standards and encourage others to do so.
- Maintaining work area cleanliness and conducting required safety checks.
- Participating actively in safety meetings and report any incidents promptly.
- Complying with equipment isolation and safe work procedures.
- Attending all required training programs and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Striving to meet departmental KPIs and upholding respectful communication among all team members.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position, will hold a national licence for high-risk work, forklift operation, elevated work platforms, dogging, and crane operation, but these are not necessary. It is desirable if you have maintenance experience with mining machinery. Delivering outcomes, obeying directions, maintaining beliefs and values, helping the team succeed, and adjusting to change while confronting risky behaviours are some of key competences required for this role. The ideal applicant will be able to prioritise work, work safely, and regularly follow safety and work regulations. You should also have a basic understanding of computers.
