This roster is 7/7 day and night shift and a 12-hour day.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to support the operation in site access control and security, ensuring the achievement and maintenance of Evolution Mining's standards, employee safety, and legislative compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and align with the company’s values and culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating behaviours aligned with Evolution Mining's Values and supporting the company's culture.
• Assisting with Drug & Alcohol Testing and Fitness for Work practices as outlined in current policy.
• Managing site access control duties, including monitoring Gallagher software, maintaining occurrence logs, issuing inductions, managing access requirements, and maintaining key registers.
• Conducting security activities such as vehicle and personal bag searches, monitoring site compliance, and supporting theft prevention efforts.
• Participating in emergency response procedures, including assisting fire wardens, notifying the Incident Management Team, and coordinating with external emergency services when needed.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and ensuring safe traffic flow while adhering to Evolution Mining’s health, safety, and environmental protocols.

About you

If you are looking for a role that combines security, compliance, and safety in a dynamic and rewarding environment, we encourage you to apply, however you will require the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Qualification certificates for the following: HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing, HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid, HLTSS00068 - Occupational First Aid Skill Set (Desirable), NSW Security Licence
• Previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplined role in a Mine site access role or similar
• The ability to work under pressure and complete multiple tasks concurrently
• Focus on prioritisation and meeting deadlines effectively
• Effective influencing and communication skills across a range of stakeholders
• Applied knowledge of assisting customers who are under pressure and time restraints
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Independent and confident with the ability to apply learnings with minimum direction and work as an effective member of a small team
• Competent user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, INX and Gallagher programs
• Experience in using the following software systems; INX InHealth, InControl, InTuition desirable
