This roster is either 5:2 / 4:3 10 hour day shifts or 7:7 12 hour day shifts.

About the Role
This is hands on training with real impact. As a Trainer Assessor at Cowal, you’ll be embedded in the heart of Processing operations, delivering practical, site-based training that drives safety, performance, and career development across the workforce. Your focus will be on supporting processing teams to build capability and confidence in a high-performance environment.
Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, you’ll deliver nationally recognised training, assess competencies, and maintain accurate records using systems like INX and Moodle. You won’t be designing programs from scratch, but you will be the face of training, presenting, assessing, and supporting in-field activities where it matters most.

About You
You know the ropes in processing or another heavy industry environment. You’ve probably trained others informally and now you’re ready to take the next step. You might already hold your Cert IV in Training and Assessment, or you’re keen to complete it with support.
You’re motivated by safety, teamwork, and helping others succeed. You communicate clearly, follow procedures, and lead by example. You’re comfortable with systems like INX or Moodle (or willing to learn) and confident working both in the field and in the training room.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in mining, processing, or maintenance, ideally with exposure to high-risk licence training
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Wants to build something meaningful and be part of a team that’s just getting started
