About us

Evolution Mining is a leading, growth-focused globally relevant gold company. We were created in late 2011 and operate five wholly owned mines across Australia and Ontario, Canada. In addition, we hold an economic interest in the Ernest Henry copper-gold mine in Queensland.

 

About the role

A Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for creating and developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the companies resourcing and related initiatives. This role will partner with one of our cornerstone assets undergoing expansion.

Providing a professional end to end recruitment service, understanding best practices and applying a solution to fit the business’s needs.

Key result areas for roles of this nature include:

  • Creating job analysis and writing job advertisements accordingly.
  • Thinking commercially and providing strategic solutions.  
  • Reviewing and implementing sourcing methods to secure hard to fill, business critical, and skill gaps to support workforce plans.
  • Conduct site visits, complete site tours and build business acumen.
  • Demonstrating behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.

 

About you

Driven to deliver, you will demonstrate the ability to take initiative, address challenges and follow through. Working closely and collaboratively with all parts of a business within your 2-5 years’ experience in an end to end (preferably in-house recruitment). It is also important that you have or can demonstrate:

  • Strong mental agility.
  • Strong ability to plan and be agile.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Building trusted and reliable relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
