This position is open to FIFO from Perth to Kalgoorlie on a 7/7 (12-hour day) roster.

About the role
The IT Support Analyst (Level II) provides on-site and remote technical support across a large mine site, troubleshooting desktop, application, network, and mobile device issues. This role ensures timely resolution of IT incidents by working closely with external support providers and internal teams. A strong customer focus, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities include desktop support for client-server applications, web applications, Microsoft applications, Windows OS, and geology software. The role also involves user account management in on-premise and Azure Active Directory, deploying and maintaining the Standard Operating Environment using Windows Autopilot, and supporting collaboration tools such as Teams video conferencing and Mitel telephony. The analyst will also oversee the deployment and maintenance of iOS and Android mobile devices. Security responsibilities include preliminary assessments of cybersecurity incidents, such as malware and phishing threats, maintaining malware protection on all desktop and mobile devices, and escalating issues when necessary. Additional duties include maintaining IT documentation, managing asset registers, and supporting site-based technology projects to ensure efficient IT operations. The analyst will also contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at improving IT service delivery. Participation in an on-call roster is required to provide after-hours IT support. The analyst will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards, while promoting IT as a trusted and valued technology partner within the organization.

About you
The succesful individual is a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds an ITIL certification, with the MCSE certification highly regarded. They bring 3-4 years of experience as an IT Support Analyst in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Their skill set includes technical analysis, problem-solving, and a proven track record in delivering results and exceeding customer expectations. They are proficient in Microsoft software, with strong troubleshooting and network support skills. Additionally, they have the ability to handle cybersecurity issues and manage multiple demands while prioritizing work efficiently. They excel in networking and relating with various stakeholders and are skilled at presenting and communicating information.
