At Mugari
Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving many employees the luxury of coming home every day.
Last year we announced our expansion project, a $250m investment to expand our processing mill. This investment will extend Mungari’s mine life to 15 years and double annual production to over 200,000 ounces per year post commissioning. It is an exciting time to join the Mungari Operations!

This roster will be 7:7 and a 12 hour day.
About the role
The primary purpose of the Charge Up Operator is for safe preparation and set up of charges in ore stopes / development headings as required
- Fulfil the Shotfirer and Dangerous Goods and Explosives handling statutory obligations
- Fulfil Magazine Controlling obligations
- Ensure re-entries are done as per procedures
- Hole casing as required
- Complying with and undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor
Personnel will be required to work in all sections of the mine, & at all times work in a safe manner, with a high standard of workmanship.
About you
- It is important that you have previous Charge Up experience, currently hold a Valid shot firing certification & Dangerous Good Security Card and have the following attributes;
- Dedicated to contributing towards quality work outcomes
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment at all times
- Ability to work a 7:7 roster (12 hour- days and nights)
- Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
