What’s the opportunity?

We’ve boldly reimagined our future at Mungari. We’re growing and investing in what’s ahead. There’s now an opportunity for an experienced Underground Truck Operator and Nippers, who wants to be part of a team that’s building momentum. This role is for a capable operator who takes pride in safe, efficient haulage and wants to contribute to how underground mining operates at Mungari.

Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting both Development and Production activities.

As an Underground Truck or Nipper Operator, your day-to-day will include:

• Operating underground haul trucks, light vehicles and associated equipment safely and efficiently
• Supporting development and production crews with materials handling and general mine services
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the underground environment
• Proactively identifying and managing potential safety hazards

Does this sound like you? 

• Currently located within the goldfields region or willing to relocate
• Min of 6 months previous underground experience with valid RPL's
• A valid manual Driver’s Licence
• Solid understanding of safe work procedures
• Good communication and observation skills
• Familiarity with JSA and Take 5 systems
