What’s the opportunity?

If you're an experienced mining electrician who enjoys variety, autonomy and being out in the field, this is an opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure that keeps our operation running.

As our operations continue to grow, we're investing in the people and infrastructure that support our future. This role offers the chance to lead electrical maintenance activities across a diverse range of non-process infrastructure including communications networks, surface facilities, underground services and remote assets. No two days are the same. You'll be trusted to make decisions, coordinate contractors and provide hands-on technical leadership across the operation.

Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Infrastructure Supervisor, you'll:

• Keep critical electrical and communications infrastructure operating safely and reliably across surface, underground, open pit and remote locations.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Drive statutory compliance through isolations, inspections, audits and corrective actions, including S26 coverage requirements.
• Respond to planned and reactive maintenance activities, using your experience to make sound decisions in the field.
• Support infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives that help strengthen safety, reliability and operational performance.

Does this sound like you?

• Current Western Australian Electrical Licence.
• Statutory Supervisor (S26) qualification or the ability to obtain it.
• Proven experience working within a mining operation.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating contractors in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions in the field.
• Physical capability to perform hands-on work, including working at heights and attending remote infrastructure locations.

Highly regarded:

• Experience with communications systems and cabling.
• Exposure to instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with Pronto or similar maintenance management systems.
