Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role

Step into a pivotal coordination role at Mungari, where you’ll influence how mobile maintenance is planned, prioritised and delivered across site.

As our Maintenance Coordinator – Mobile Maintenance, you’ll coordinate maintenance activities across teams, ensuring systems, planning and execution are aligned for safe and efficient outcomes

This is a role with real ownership and impact. You won’t be confined to a single function or repetitive tasks, this position offers variety, autonomy and exposure across the entire operation, making it an excellent pathway into planning, reliability or leadership roles.

Choose the roster that suits your lifestyle – residential Kalgoorlie 5:2:4:3 (10-hour days) or FIFO from Perth 8:6 (12-hour days).

A typical day involves:

  • Coordinating maintenance work management processes to ensure activities are planned, prioritised and executed effectively
  • Maintaining the integrity of work management systems (e.g. Pronto or similar CMMS) and supporting accurate master data
  • Working closely with planning, reliability and production teams to align schedules and priorities
  • Engaging across HSEC, engineering and supply teams to support compliance and safe execution
  • Supporting failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance

About You

You are a capable and motivated mining professional who understands how maintenance, planning and operations connect in a live environment.

You bring a practical mindset, strong coordination skills and the confidence to engage across multiple teams. You enjoy working autonomously while contributing to a broader team outcome and are looking for a role that will expand your exposure and career opportunities.

You may be stepping off the tools, transitioning from a supervisory role, or building on existing planning/coordination experience.

Can you tick the following criteria?

  • 5+ years’ experience in mining, ideally within mobile or underground maintenance environments
  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
  • Statutory Supervisor qualification (or ability to obtain is essential)
  • Exposure to maintenance planning, scheduling or coordination processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability, with the ability to work across multiple site functions
  • Experience using Pronto or similar CMMS, with solid Microsoft Office skills
