About the role
The Supply Officer is an integral role within Evolution Mining’s Mungari business delivering excellence in warehouse services ensuring quality storage and distribution expertise to sites.
The role is accountable for ensuring inventory availability and providing exceptional customer service when conducting activities such as stocktaking, receipting, inward and outward handling of goods, bulk commodity management and replenishment of satellite stores. Month end accruals and general ledger reconciliations for the Finance team is also required.
Daily activities involve daily pre-start checks of equipment and vehicles, bulk commodity counts and reconciliations, a high volume of data processing of receipts, stocktaking, fuel management, safe handling and storage and recording of hazardous materials and organisation of deliveries.
The supply team have a strong focus on safe work practices and procedures and are always looking to improve standards.
This position is on a 5:2:4:3 (10 hour day) roster, open only to candidates living in Kalgoorlie.
About you
Previous experience working in a mining operations environment is desirable but not essential.
You must have a resilient and flexible attitude and enjoy contributing to a team environment. Key attributes you will also possess include:
- Previous warehousing/logistics experience in an industrial environment
- Excellent communication skills delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- An ability to think logically and enjoy solving problems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle
- An ability to adapt and respond to change with a cheerful outlook.
- Personal commitment to OHS policies and always demonstrating safe work practices.
- Strong computer literacy using the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange)
- Current Forklift Ticket and WA Drivers C Class is essential. Integrated Tool Carrier desirable.
- Dangerous Good Licence (essential).
