Operator Processing Day Services

About the Role

In this role, you will join a collaborative Processing team supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Mungari processing plant. Working as a Day Utilities Operator, you will assist with plant operations, inspections, clean‑up activities, and environmental management across the Crusher, Mill, processing plant, and tailings facilities.

Reporting to the Day Services Supervisor, the team works together to maintain safe plant conditions, support production outcomes, and build the skills required to provide relief as a Process Operator.

This role suits an experienced Processing or Utilities Operator looking to broaden their exposure across plant operations in a residential Goldfields environment. 

This position is on a 7:7 (12 hours/days only) roster, open only to candidate already residing in the Kalgoorlie/Boulder region.

You will:

• Assist with plant and equipment operation across the processing facility
• Observe, maintain, and conduct clean‑up activities of the Crusher, Mill, plant machinery, and tailings areas
• Safely utilise mechanical and manual equipment for materials handling and clean‑up tasks
• Inspect and maintain tailings dams, including monitoring water levels, deposition areas, and general access ways
• Monitor plant water systems and maintain adequate reagent stocks and levels
• Mix reagents in line with operating procedures where required
• Conduct routine inspections and collect water samples as needed
• Identify, report, and assist in correcting hazards and equipment faults
• Accurately record and timely report measurements, observations, and variances
• Actively participate in site safety, environmental, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Previous experience working in a mining operations environment is desirable but not essential. 

You must have a resilient and flexible attitude and enjoy contributing to a team environment. Key attributes you will possess include:

• Previous warehousing/logistics experience in an industrial environment
• Current Forklift Ticket and WA Drivers C Class Licence is essential. 
• Excellent communication skills delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
• An ability to think logically and enjoy solving problems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle
• An ability to adapt and respond to change with a cheerful outlook.
• Personal commitment to OHS policies and always demonstrating safe work practices.
• Strong computer literacy using the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange)
• Dangerous Good Licence (desirable).
