The position will be based in Kalgoorlie on a 4/3 roster, 12 hour day (relocation support within Australia will be provided to relocate to Kalgoorlie only)

About the Role

Reporting to the Planning and Reliability Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner – Mobile Maintenance plays a vital role in supporting long-term planning and execution of mobile maintenance activities at the Raleigh site, part of the East Kundana Joint Venture (EKJV) near Mungari. This position is responsible for coordinating capital expenditure planning, midlife rebuilds, and warranty repairs for underground machinery, ensuring optimal performance and lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors, including OEMs, to forecast machine usage, schedule maintenance, and manage resources. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage long-term maintenance plans and capital projects
• Liaise with external contractors and OEMs for off-site rebuilds
• Track costs, build budgets, and manage planning spreadsheets
• Ensure timely availability of parts and resources for scheduled maintenance
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

With a solid understanding of maintenance workflows and a passion for continuous improvement, you’re ready to take ownership of long-term planning and contribute meaningfully to operational excellence.

Key Skills Required

• Planning Expertise: Proven experience in mobile maintenance planning, preferably in mining or heavy industry
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with planning systems like Pronto
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Ability to build and manage budgets, track costs, and forecast maintenance needs
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in planning, scheduling, and documentation
