Project Geologist Resource Definition

Who we are

We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.

Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.

When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.

What’s the opportunity?

As Mungari continues to grow, so does our Resource Definition team. This newly created role offers the chance to accelerate resource growth, shape future drilling programs and help unlock the next chapter of the operation. If you enjoy turning geological data into meaningful outcomes and seeing your work drive real business decisions, you'll thrive in this environment.

This is a role where you'll have genuine ownership and the opportunity to find the next orebody. You'll take projects from concept through to delivery, combining geological interpretation and targeting, 3D modelling and drill program management to advance high-value opportunities. Working alongside a technically strong and collaborative geology team, you'll be encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge thinking and make a tangible impact through your work.

You'll also benefit from the kind of exposure that's difficult to find in larger, more segmented teams. Working closely with experienced geology leaders and industry experts, you'll be involved in key technical discussions, gain visibility across the broader resource development strategy and continue building the capability needed to take your career to the next level. Whether you're looking to deepen your technical expertise or prepare for a future senior role, you'll be supported to keep developing.

.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist Resource Definition, you'll:

  • Build and refine 3D geological models that support resource growth and future mining decisions.
  • Design, manage and deliver drilling programs from planning through to interpretation and completion.
  • Analyse geological, structural, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify and advance resource opportunities.
  • Contribute to technical reporting, resource evaluation, and JORC-compliant documentation.
  • Work closely with a collaborative team to influence future drilling strategies and resource development plans.
  • Drive data quality, continuous improvement, and technical excellence across resource definition activities.

.
