Senior Advisor Health & Safety
Who we are
We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.
When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.
What’s the opportunity?
This is an opportunity to take a site-wide leadership role across a large and diverse mining operation. Working across underground mining, open pit operations and processing, you'll influence how health, safety and risk management are embedded into daily work while leading a team of Health & Safety Advisors who support our operational teams.
Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Superintendent Health, Safety & Training, you'll:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of three Health & Safety Advisors supporting our underground, open pit and surface operations.
- Partner with leaders across site to strengthen safety performance, critical risk controls and operational compliance.
- Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring learnings are identified and shared across the business.
- Facilitate risk assessments and help operational teams proactively manage safety risks before incidents occur.
- Drive continuous improvement across health, safety, emergency response, injury management and related systems and processes
- Oversee hygiene activities onsite.
This position operates on an 8:6 roster (12-hour days) and is available as either FIFO from Perth or residential in Kalgoorlie, with relocation support available within Australia.
Why Mungari Operations?
Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers.
The future here is bright; you could be part of it.

We support, develop and reward you to ensure you have a bright future. Here’s how we back that up:
