About the role
 

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must either currently reside in Kalgoorlie or be open to permanently relocating from within Australia, with full Australian working rights. We will support your relocation to ensure a smooth transition.

This exceptional role follows a 5:2:4:3 roster (10-hour days), offering a dynamic work schedule.

Last year, our business invested $250 million into expanding our processing mill, and it has proven to be a highly successful project, completed on time and within budget. As commissioning begins in March, we are set to double our annual production to over 200,000 ounces in the coming years.

The role’s primary purpose is to supervise a dedicated team and ensure the safe, efficient operation of the gold room, laboratory, and processing plant areas when required. Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will take on the following key responsibilities;

• Oversee the planning and daily scheduling of gold room duties
• Supervise, mentor and provide training to staff when required
• Build strong relations with maintenance, planning, reliability engineering, metallurgical engineering, projects and dayshift operations personnel
• Review and improve procedures ensuring they comply with HSE standards.
• Understand and execute accountabilities of legal appointment under Australian Mining regulations

About you
 

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes;

• Previous Gold Room and process plant operational experience is essential
• 2+ years supervisory experience within a processing plant
• Proven planning, organising and analysing skills
• Proactiveness and strong problem-solving abilities
• A Clean National Police Clearance
• Competent user of MS Word, Excel, INX and Pronto
• Committed to always promoting a safe work environment
• Familiarity with handling dangerous chemicals
• Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
