About the role 

We are seeking a Mine Control Officer to join our Underground Mining team at Mungari, supporting the safe, efficient and coordinated operation of our underground mine. This role is central to maintaining smooth real‑time execution of the daily mine plan.

As the key communication and coordination hub for underground activities, you will monitor and dispatch underground equipment and personnel, maintain accurate operational data in the Pitram Fleet Management System, and support Short Interval Control to optimise in‑shift performance. You’ll work closely with supervisors, operators, technical services and surface support to ensure production activities are accurately tracked, safe work practices are maintained, and operational delays are minimised.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with underground mining experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and enjoys contributing to high-quality operational outcomes.

This position is offered on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Perth or live local in the Goldfields and enjoy genuine community connection with a recent increase in our residential allowance.

About you 

You’re an organised and proactive operator with strong situational awareness and a passion for supporting safe and efficient underground mining. You bring:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in an underground mining environment
• Exposure to underground equipment such as jumbos, loaders, haul trucks and support vehicles
• Experience with Fleet Management Systems (Micromine Pitram highly regarded)
• Strong computer literacy and confidence maintaining accurate data and production records
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities
• A calm and solutions-focused approach to real-time problem‑solving
• Commitment to safety, compliance and operational discipline at all times
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Manual C Class licence.
