Who we are

We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.

Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.

When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.

What’s the opportunity?

Join our Mining team at Mungari as a Mine Control Officer and play a central role in the safe, efficient and coordinated operation of our underground mine. As the communication and coordination hub for underground activities, you will monitor equipment and personnel, maintain operational data within the Pitram Fleet Management System and support Short Interval Control to optimise in-shift performance.

  • Support safe and efficient execution of the daily underground mine plan
  • Monitor and dispatch underground equipment and personnel
  • Maintain accurate production and operational data in Pitram
  • Coordinate with supervisors, operators, technical services and support teams
  • Identify and communicate operational delays and opportunities for improvement
  • Promote safety, compliance and operational discipline at all times

This position will be on a 7:7 roster residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

Why Mungari Operations?

Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers.

What suits your lifestyle best? We offer drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) and fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) rosters at Mungari. You choose. Live local in the world-class mining community and enjoy our competitive live-local incentives and allowances. Or choose FIFO and enjoy the camaraderie and benefits that village life offers.

The future here is bright; you could be part of it.
