This roster is 7:7 and a 12 hour day. This role is a residential position within the Parkes local area.
About the role
Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor the role will undertake various tasks to develop the new Sub Level cave operation and operate a E26 sub level cave to deliver ore to the mill safely and efficiently.
- Working safely, abiding by all procedures and by using appropriate safety equipment, setting an example to all others.
- Manage a diverse workload based on priorities determined by the Development Shift Supervisor.
- Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution.
- Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.
About you
- Currently reside within the Parkes area or willing to relocate to Parkes.
- Minimum of twelve (12) months previous experience in a similar position.
- Remote operating experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Proven experience working in a multiskilled team environment.
- Working at heights certification
- Security clearance to handle explosives.
- Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
- Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence
