This roster is 7:7 and a 12 hour day. This role is a residential position within the Parkes local area.

About the role

Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor the role will undertake Charge Up activities to ensure smooth operation of our underground development and production mining operations.

• Development and production charging
• Safe and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting agents
• Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures
• Conducts preparation for blast holes in accordance with site procedures to minimise misfires and improve utilisation of explosives
• Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution.
• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.

About you

• Currently reside within the Parkes area or willing to relocate to Parkes.
• Minimum of Twelve (12) months previous experience in a similar position.
• Blasting Explosives User Licence.
• Working at heights certification
• Security clearance to handle explosives.
• Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
• Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence
