About the role
The Electrical Coordinator E48 SLC Infrastructure plays a key role in leading and supporting electrical planning, coordination, and technical development across the E48 SLC project. You will lead a small electrical team, manage weekly and monthly scheduling, and contribute technical expertise, particularly in development and PLC‑related activities. This role is central to ensuring safe, efficient and well‑planned execution of electrical infrastructure work for one of Northparkes’ major long‑term projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, coordinating and scheduling all electrical work across weekly and monthly cycles
- Leading and supporting a small electrical team, fostering a positive and development‑focused culture
- Providing technical input, troubleshooting and problem‑solving, including PLC‑related tasks
- Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of work for major projects including E48 and SLC
- Contributing to continuous improvement and technical development initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with standards, procedures and statutory requirements
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver project outcomes
About you
You will bring a strong electrical background with experience in planning, scheduling and coordinating technical work, ideally within an underground mining or similar heavy industrial environment. Experience with PLCs or development‑related electrical systems is highly regarded. You are proactive, organised and capable of leading a small team while contributing to technical problem‑solving and project delivery.You will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships across mixed‑experience teams. You will demonstrate commitment to safety, continuous improvement and delivering quality outcomes.
