About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical), this position involves electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding on online and offline fixed and mobile plant in the Underground Mine.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing daily scheduled maintenance and inspections on materials handling equipment, including motors, rock breakers, winder haulage system, and variable speed drives.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders and supervising contractors.
- Ensuring all procedures and processes are documented and aligned with regulatory requirements and mining best practices.
- Meeting legislative, regulatory, and Evolution policy requirements while aligning with business objectives

About you:
The ideal candidate will hold a valid NSW Electrical Licence and a manual Driver’s Licence, with demonstrated experience working in heavy industry environments such as mining, processing, oil and gas, or construction. Previous experience maintaining materials handling equipment, strong technical skills and a High Voltage Licence and Instrumentation qualifications will be highly regarded, but are not essential. The ideal candidate will also be committed to teamwork and maintaining the highest standards of safety in all aspects of their work.
