This is a residential role based in the Parkes region, working a consistent 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high-performing underground maintenance team. As part of Evolution Mining, you’ll be working hands-on with heavy mobile equipment in a well-supported environment that values safety, quality, and teamwork. About the role
Step into a pivotal role within our high-performing Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team at Evolution Mining. As our MEM Storeperson, you’ll be the logistical backbone of our underground operations—ensuring the right parts, tools, and materials are exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there.
This is more than just a warehousing role. You’ll be working closely with maintenance planners, team leaders, and suppliers to streamline inventory processes, optimise stock levels, and support safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance outcomes. From setting up underground workshop stores to coordinating deliveries and stocktakes, your work will directly impact the performance of our mobile fleet and the success of our mining operations.

About you
You’re a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You bring:
- You’re based in Parkes or ready to make the move to join a thriving mining community.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a storeperson or warehousing role within heavy industry.
- Strong SAP knowledge (minimum 2 years) and confidence in managing inventory systems.
- A current forklift licence and advanced first aid certification.
- A keen eye for detail when receiving deliveries and conducting quality checks.
- Experience in mobile maintenance-related projects and a solid understanding of underground workshop operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset—you’re approachable, reliable, and ready to build strong relationships across teams and with suppliers.
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement, always operating to the highest standards.
- Current manual C Class licence
