About the role

The Analyst Contracts & Procurement role offers the opportunity provide governance, assistance and guidance on procurement related matters to site stakeholders and support good procurement practices. You will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services required to support the Red Lake Operations (RLO).

The roster will be 5 days on, 2 days off and 4 days on and 3 days off – 9.5 hour shifts and is a local residential role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Procure Inventory, in line with department Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Actively promote opportunities that support the development and transition to more automated procure to pay processes.
• Procure Services, Goods and Repairables in line with department SLAs
• Adjust purchase orders in accordance with revised approvals and variations
• Source quotes for Goods & Services, as required
• For rush and critical orders, set up delivery, monitor the due dates for delivery and actively manage vendors to ensure on time delivery
• Complete new vendor or updated vendor requests
• Prepare and analyse spend reports to support cost reduction strategies
• Maintain contracts register and ensure information is current, accurate and complete
• Work with the Contracts and Procurement Specialist to build relationships and engage with stakeholders to determine business needs, requirements, changes, risks and expectations to enable fully informed procurement planning, scoping and sourcing decisions
• Conduct and lead sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures, participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements, and assist in implementation of outcomes
• Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance and negotiate contract variations through effective supplier relationships to enhance business outcomes

About you

As the Analyst Contracts and Procurement, you will have a relevant business degree or equivalent diploma in a related field. You will also have a CSCMP Designation or equivalent.

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain
• Advanced competency in use of ERP systems (Pronto)
• Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge
• Worked as part of a team to deliver time critical outcomes
• Strong team focus, collaboration skills and prepared to listen to feedback
• Ability to be accountable for actions in the delivery of business outcomes
• Driven to achieve optimal outcomes
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Strong attention to detail when writing and undertaking calculations
• Intermediate level of commercial acumen and relationship building skills
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Effective time and priority management.
