About the role

The IT System Administrator – Infrastructure role offers the opportunity to manage, enhance and expand the site network system, server, storage and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for providing and leading solutions on network, system, sever, storage and cyber related projects.

 

The roster will be 5 days on, 2 days off and 4 days on and 3 days off – 9.5 hour shifts.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain incidents, requests, and problems within the IT Ticketing system
  • Ensure incidents, requests and problems are managed within agreed SLA's
  • Ensure the security of infrastructure hardware and systems by installing proper firmware and upgrades as required
  • Develop and Maintain RLO network, system, server and storage documentation as required
  • Lead, plan, and execute IT technology projects as required
  • Develop and provide required training programs for end-users
  • Manage and Support network, system, server, storage and cyber hardware and software Asset and Life cycle management
  • Work collaboratively with our Group Office IT team to simplify and standardise IT solutions, and to support and maintain infrastructure, applications, and systems.

 

About you

As the IT System Administrator - Infrastructure, you will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in the Computer, Networking or Technology related field.

 

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration of networks, systems, servers and/or storage
  • Knowledge of network, system, server, storage and cyber technologies to provide best level of support to manage the infrastructure
  • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills to solve issues
  • Willingness to take on assignments and projects within field of expertise
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effectively able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Organisation, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
