About the role

The Operator Haulage  role offers an exceptional opportunity to join the Maintenance team and be responsible for efficiently  perform all required tasks for which you have been trained and are qualified, in a safe manner at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operations.

The position will be on a 7  days on / 7 days off roster with day shift and night shift rotations at Campbell Complex and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.

Key result areas in this role include:

• Perform duties with skills acquired as Mine Trainee and acquire increased level of skill and knowledge (e.g. pipe and vent installation, lifting mechanisms and track haulage).
• Perform tasks as directed under the direction of supervisor.
• Consistently work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Comply with all safety procedures.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Observe experienced workers to gain and increase knowledge of methods, procedures, and performance standards.
• Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Attend all required training activities with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Successfully complete all required Common Core training modules.
• Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free.
• Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
• Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About you

• As the Operator Haulage, you will have an  Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma, and willingness and aptitude to progressively advance to higher levels with good mechanical aptitude. Ability to demonstrate competence to perform all skills acquired as Mine Trainee, with aptitude to progress to next level
