About the Role

 

To coordinate and support the management of the Evolution Mining Early Career’s Programs across the employment lifecycle to support the growth of our diverse workforce. 

 

Support in strategic pipeline development by assisting in the design and delivery of frameworks, including recruitment (in collaboration with the talent acquisition team), remuneration and reward structures, development opportunities, and career transition pathways for pipeline initiatives. This includes supporting programs such as Evolution Graduate, Vacation, Apprenticeship, and Cadetship programs

End-to-end coordination of the Evolution Graduate Program, including but not limited to:

 

  • The annual recruitment drives for Evolution Graduate and Vacation programs
  • Facilitating continuous engagement with current Graduates and Vacation students, offering coaching and management of annual rotations across various mine sites
  • Manage the schedule of quarterly and annual internal Graduate events
  • Develop robust working relationships with current Graduate cohorts, to ensure support throughout their two-year graduate program journey
  • Continuously update and maintain the support procedure, guidelines, and framework for the current Graduate program to ensure alignment with business needs and overall program integrity and purpose
  • Support the implementation of the early pipeline program strategy, advocating for it and collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritise areas of focus, while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Oversee all career events and educational partnerships
  • Contribute to the strategy around culture, values and behaviours, including role modelling and supporting others in understanding and living the EVN values and supportive behaviours
  • Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with stakeholders to drive successful buy-in and support for pipeline initiatives
  • Actively promote continuous improvement, and support the change process, for any pipeline program initiatives across the business including data integrity management

 

About You

 

This role will require someone with strong mental agility who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is a role that will require the right person to be able to build trust with key stakeholders and reliable relationships at all levels. 

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Previous Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience, ideally gained in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Demonstrated track record of supporting and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in training design and facilitation not essential but highly desired
  • Experience in mining/resources not essential but experience working in an operational/blue collar/shift work business and/or with regional experience highly desirable
