About the role
The Finance and Commercial team partners with our business to provide a full spectrum of finance activities both from a corporate point of view, and at our mining operations. A combination of Group Office (Sydney) and site-based rotations are expected throughout the program.
Within Group Finance this may include:
- ASX accounting and monthly reporting,
- Statutory reporting including the balance date audit process and;
- Shared Services including the accounts payable process.
Within Group Commercial this may include:
- Running a tender process,
- Annual strategic and operational planning.
- Group capital expenditure process
- Treasury operations.
During your site rotation you may be part of:
- The accounting and monthly reporting process,
- Life of mine planning and annual budgeting.
- Business improvement projects such as identification, scoping implementation and tracking
About you
To be successful, this candidate will require a Commerce, Business, Law, Economics or similar degree completed within the last two years.
It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:
- Capability to coordinate numerous activities within a demanding environment.
- Proactive, energetic, ambitious and eager to learn
- People oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong attention to detail combined with critical and analytical skills
