Group Manager - Procurement
About the Role
This pivotal role leads Evolution Mining’s Procurement team and drives commercial excellence across the full source‑to‑pay cycle. You’ll oversee supply chain performance, supplier relationships, contracts management, governance and administration to ensure strong, sustainable and cost‑effective outcomes.
With a clear strategic focus, the role champions continuous improvement—developing systems, processes and practices that strengthen supply chain, reduce risk and unlock value through smarter supply optimisation.
Your work will involve:
- Leading the Group Procurement Team to deliver value, achieve cost savings, supplier performance and effectively manage risk objectives.
- Implementing the procurement strategy and policy across all product categories ensuring alignment with both Group and Site objectives.
- Establishing and embedding a best‑practice strategic procurement organisation, prioritising capability development and cultural excellence within Procurement teams across Group and Site operations.
- Supporting the assessment and improvement of Evolution's current supply chains, including its policies, processes, work procedures, and utilisation of Pronto and SAP.
- Driving a transparent and data driven culture to identify and capture cost and efficiency benefits across the group supply chains and the organisation.
- Ensuring all contracts for all procedures are compliant relating to tendering, contract evaluation and contract administration.
- Acting as a role model of the Evolution Values in the way you build relationships, influence stakeholders and lead your direct team.
About You
You’re an experienced procurement and supply chain professional with a strong background in leading supply chain or procurement functions, ideally within the mining or materials sector. You bring demonstrated experience shaping and delivering strategic roadmaps, transformation initiatives and functional improvements across procurement. With extensive experience leading high‑performing teams, drafting and negotiating complex contracts, you operate confidently in complex commercial environments and deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
