This role will work a 5/2 roster from the Brisbane or Sydney office with flexibility options available.

About the Role 

You won’t just manage categories; you’ll shape the future of procurement at Evolution. Your strategies will secure resilience, unlock innovation, and embed sustainability at the core of our supply chain. 

You will lead transformative sourcing strategies, negotiate game-changing agreements, and champion sustainability across every decision. You will own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and deliver commercially robust outcomes that safeguard supply resilience and advance sustainability objectives. 

Your work will involve: 

• Setting the direction for enterprise-wide category strategies that shape how we source, spend, and deliver value. 

• Leading high-stakes sourcing and negotiations, securing long-term agreements that strengthen our commercial position. 

• Taking charge of strategic contract management, keeping performance on track and risks firmly under control. 

• Embedding sustainability at the core of every decision while upholding strong governance and accountability. 

• Staingy ahead of the curve with forward-looking insights on markets, demand trends, and regulatory shifts. 

• Influencing senior leaders and acting as their go to advisor on procurement strategy and commercial outcomes. 

• Leadning and growing a small team, building capability, confidence, and a high-performance culture. 

• Championing smarter, faster, more innovative ways of working across procurement. 

About You 

You are not just a procurement expert; you’re a strategic leader who thrives on complexity and drives meaningful change. You thrive in complex environments and bring a collaborative approach to building relationships and delivering results. Your experience includes leading strategic sourcing and contract management for mining or heavy industry, negotiating high-value agreements, and embedding sustainability principles into procurement strategies. You combine strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical skills and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
